» Catholic Encyclopedia: St. Hermas, Martyr - The Roman Martyrology includes for 18 August Roman martyrs Hermas, Serapion, and Polyaenus. Ten days later a Roman martyr Hermes and Alexandrian martyrs Polienus and Serapion are commemorated. Perhaps they are the same.
